We had a classic car towed to a new location after moving. We had literally spent everything on the move but $109. This tow company told us $80 to tow the car under 5 miles and we had actually used them before not long before. After they loaded the car they told us $130 we told them to put the car back down the man said no $130. We told them we were told $80 he stated he went to an address that was previously given to him for the tow we got a week prior. He stated he would put the car down for half of the $130 we explained to him that we only had $109 he said he would tow it for $110 cash and we explained again we just spent thousands on a move and that was all we had and that I was going to have to call the police. He threatened then to take my car and leave, I behave the man was just trying to take the car. Luckily I was able to contact family out of state to wire $40 to pay the driver so he couldn’t illegally take possession of my vehicle.
